1. Overview
At Chickirice, we begin processing orders shortly after they are placed to ensure fast fulfillment and shipping. For this reason, cancellation and modification requests are time-sensitive. This policy explains how customers may request order changes, cancellations, or address adjustments.
2. Canceling an Order
Customers may request to cancel an order within the first 1–2 hours of purchase, provided the order has not been processed, packed, or shipped. Once an order enters fulfillment, it can no longer be canceled.

- Reason for cancellation
We will notify you if cancellation is approved or if the order has already progressed beyond the cancel window.
3. Changing or Modifying an Order
Customers may request changes to:
- Product selection
- Sizes or colors (if available)
- Shipping address
- Contact information
- Payment or billing details (when possible and not yet processed)
Modification requests must be initiated quickly and may only be honored if the order has not yet begun fulfillment.
4. Shipping Address Changes
If a mistake was made in the shipping address, notify us as soon as possible. We will attempt to correct the address before the shipment leaves our facility.
Chickirice is not responsible for:
- Delays
- Lost packages
- Failed deliveries
caused by inaccurate or incomplete address information submitted by the customer.
5. Orders Already Shipped
Once an order has shipped, neither cancellation nor modification is possible. Customers may proceed with a return after delivery pursuant to our Return Policy.
6. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
Packages that are refused or returned as undeliverable due to incorrect addresses or customer refusal may be subject to delays. Upon receipt, customers may request a refund or re-shipment. Shipping fees are non-refundable once a shipment is in transit.
7. Refunds for Canceled Orders
Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method. Chickirice does not charge restocking or cancellation fees. Refund timing follows our Refund Policy, which currently allows refunds within 14 business days.
8. Out-of-Stock or Operational Cancellations
In rare cases, Chickirice may cancel an order due to:
- Inventory availability issues
- Payment processing failures
- Fraud prevention and security checks
- Regulatory or shipping restrictions
- System errors during checkout
Customers will be notified and refunded in full without penalties.
9. Fraud & Security Holds
To protect our customers, Chickirice may place orders on hold for verification if suspicious activity is detected. If verification cannot be completed, the order may be canceled and refunded.
10. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring all order information is accurate at the time of purchase, especially:
- Item selection
- Size
- Quantity
- Shipping details
- Contact email
Errors may delay or affect fulfillment and delivery.
